  2. Hey Elana, I totally hear you.
First I was starting to get worried about no recent posts, but now I could understand why.
I can tell you that I watched the video nodding the whole time.
We reach a certain level of vulnerability that we become willing of trying anything…Definetly a diet based on veggies and fruits is great for anybody, no red meat is excellent not only for our bodies(less nitrites) but also for the enviroment, I was doing exactly the same thing as you did. But in what extent it will affect cancer cells we are far from know…forgive me what I’m going to say but sometimes I wish my cancer was related to drugs/cigarretes/alcohol…I think I would accept more easily and stop bad habits in order to defend myself…but being a pretty healthy, athletic, anti-smoking person that got cancer is so frustrating…I take supplements (lots!) – I’m already a known client at my local health store – try to eat veggies at least once a day, but whenever something gives me those creepy symptoms (constipation, bloating) I start to FREAK OUT and right now my priority is my sanity…Being calm guarantees that my family won’t suffer and for me that’s the only thing that really matter now…Everything else (diet, exercise, meditation, yoga, faith, positive thoughts, etc) seems so “surreal”…
Again I hear you and I’d do the same thing you just decided!
Lots of love and thanks for sharing and letting us vent as well.
    Keep posting!

  3. I enjoy your blog postings and am glad to hear you are feeling better.
I, like Carmen, nodded in agreement with what you said…and then I chuckled (using my inside voice cause I was by myself) and though; remember when gas and bloating was as simple as eating too much and drinking too fast…those were the days :-)

  4. Oh Sweet Angel, YOU are fabYOUlously entertaining whilst educating whilst allowing for others to identify & journey with YOU on this roller coaster ride of emotions, thoughts and experiences.

How completely understandable it IS for our Minds to run away on a fear ridden tangent after having experienced the negative associative results that you have.

How completely brave, BEaYOUtyFULL & SELF LOVing of YOU to CHOOSE to DO that which ensures YOU are feeling good and having HAPPY thoughts and feelings about YOU- especially as YOU are so DOing from a response able position…maintaining awareness in the food choices you are making and ensuring you are still making healthy choices!

I AM soooooo PROUD of YOU for CHOOSing to DO that which ensures yOUR HAPPYness and am in TOTAL agreement that whatever positives the diet may have BEen providing the mind’s obsessive fear based thoughts were undoubtedly unDOing.

    Baby steps are ALLways BEST!
I think the modifications to yOUR diet, yOUR lifestyle that YOU have made thus far are AMAZING and I think any changes YOU would still like to make are better made at the pace with which YOU have BEen….nice and slow……little by little……that way we give the body the appropriate time to adjust {less gas & bloating} and the mind IS NOT sent on a roller coaster ride of fear based illusion ;~)

    I LOVE YOU!

  7. Hi Elana, I just finished watching a webinar about integrated cancer care. It was simply wonderful. It’s a group from Vancouver who runs the INSPIRE HEALTH centre and the lecturer was great! Amazing how the perspective of cancer treatment has changed and doctors are getting more convinced about mind/body and spirituality conection. I got great insights from the lecturer, mainly when it comes from supplements (there was no propaganda! thank goodness). He was adamant toward the benefits of vit D, omega 3 and melatonin in reducing recurrences. The audio with the presentation will be for sale on the next few days/weeks. I’ll try to get the email address and post it here…maybe you’re interested in look at it or maybe somebody who is reading this post right now.
I told you I’d check on your blog frequently!
    Awaiting news from you.
