If you’re still out shopping for that go-anywhere top this season, look no further than Lily & Jae. This brand came to my attention about a year ago and ever since I’ve been lusting after half the pieces on their site. They all look a bit vintage, but have a funky flair to them such as patterns or luxe material that sets them apart.
Behold the creek cami. Wear it with jean shorts, tuck it into a dress or layer it under a suit. It may even be long enough to layer over leggings. It does it all.

And best of all, while they sell their wares at stores like Aritzia, you can shop online. Stay tuned for their fall collection. I pretty much wanted every piece right then and there.
Buy it now for $109.

I know that no one wants to think about it just yet. It’s too scary to think about. Fall. Cold weather. Boots. Ew.
And yet, the fact that summer is almost halfway through is not terrifying, only because the fall brings such fun fashion such as these ones from Winners.
And everything is under $50! And if you’re a mom this is good news because your lovely children will be heading back to school and if you’re the mother of a teenager the fact that everything is under $50 is a God-send for expensive teen girls.
Frye style boots. Start looking come August to get fall-ready.

I hate to be so Toronto-centric but feel that I must share this little tidbit should you be in the GTA today.

Alexander Wang is making a personal appearance at Holt Renfrew – TODAY. From 12:00 – 1:00 the designer will be at the Holt Renfrew at Bay and Bloor (50 Bloor St West).
The CFDA award-winning designer makes the most gorgeous collections and is riding into town to show it off.
Plus, if you buy $500 worth of his footwear, handbags of eyewear you get one of his amazing tees for free! (And trust me, it’s not hard to drop that kind of dough on his wares.) Or just drop by to take a peek at someone making design history.

Nike Inc. and Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG are launching a new global expansion of their signature collection beyond the U.S to Canada, France and the United Kingdom in hopes of continuing to spread a message of hope and awareness about cancer.
The Fall 2010 collection will include footwear, apparel and accessories and will launch today, July 1st in Nike and Sport Chek stores across the country. Later this year, Nike will launch the Holiday 2010 collection, which will be released on October 1st.
“I’m very proud to see LIVESTRONG further our mission internationally, build momentum and give people the resources and support they need to fight cancer effectively,” said Lance Armstrong. “We’ve found innovative ways to raise awareness, but the fight is far from over and so I’m encouraged to see LIVESTRONG make an impact in Canada, France and the UK.”
Since their collaboration in 2004, Nike has helped the Lance Armstrong Foundation raise more than US$80 million.
Another great aspect of this launch is the fact that LIVESTRONG supporters can submit messages of inspiration and hope at www.nike.com/LIVESTRONG or using interactive banners on Facebook and Twitter, which will then go to a “Chalkbot” that will write those messages in yellow chalk on the roads of the Tour de France (which runs from July 3rd to July 25th). Consumers will then receive an email with GPS coordinates letting them know the exact location that their message will be inscribed.
Stop by Nike or Sport Chek today to take a look at the new collection and support a great cause! Oh and Happy Birthday Canada!

You may remember these boots from back in the day. Made out of vulcanized rubber tires and canvas layers from European aircraft wheels, this footwear was never for the faint of heart.
After producing tires for European aircrafts in the 1920’s, Palladium decided to open a plant in France for none other than footwear.
The French Foreign Legion even adopted their popular Pampa boot for treks in North Africa. But today these shoes are made for far more than just trekking through deserts and mountains. This boot is all about urban chic.
To me they seem like a mix of the old-school rocker style lace up Dr. Martens and the Bensimon runners.
I really like the look. Keep an eye out for fall when the boots will have leather, a new shinier fabric and of course full lace- ups to the knee. The styles can also be folded over and snap down to keep the look loose and casual.
Try it with your latest flirty dress ala Coachella and be prepared to rock out. Check out their site for the latest news and retaileres and look out for some more retro boots this fall.
