It’s been a little while since I posted a wallpaper idea — I still have 95 more to go, so let me know if you have any crafty ideas for using up wallpaper samples — but here’s a good one for a Monday afternoon as we approach the holidays: A wallpaper gift box.

You may already know how to do this. I modeled it after a pattern I found to make old greeting cards into boxes. I will admit that it works better with cards, because the paper is thicker and holds creases better, but if you can be patient with the wallpaper, it really does make for a pretty little box. It would be much easier with a bigger piece of paper, too, and you’d get a bigger box, so keep that in mind.
I used the instructions and images found here, on Allfreecrafts.com, to cut and fold the box. Finish it off with a pretty ribbon — not too thick or you won’t see the paper for the bow — and you’re done.

That is a wonderful pattern you used for the wrap.
