An astounding 9.8 million viewers tuned it to watch Monday night’s season premiere of Jon & Kate Plus Eight, presumably to bear witness to the disintegration of a marriage. It was dark, very dark, to see the fatigued husband and wife barely interacting at their sextuplets’ birthday, and Jon slurring his words alarmingly in some scenes, face flush, while visibly squirming as if he wanted the floor to open up and swallow him whole.
“Someday my kids will Google me,” he said. Absolutely right. Get them off TV before more damage is done.

It was very dark. I felt the distance between husband and wife. Especially at the birthday party. I think next season’s episode will be Kate plus 8

I personally don’t watch the show. I feel in the beginning, money and freebies was on the wish list for this couple, unfortunately endless publicity comes along with it. Jon and Kate are really no different than the rest of us, susceptible to rumours or truth, and failed or stuggling relationships. They have ‘made their bed’…they chose their path, now they will have to deal with it. It is a harsh world out there. They need to be strong and make the right decisions for their children. It is all about the kids now.
I wish them luck.
