I got a note recently from PR friend about the newest type of water bottle. “Perfect for your next triathlon!” she said. And you know what? It just might be. I’m a water drinking fiend – can’t leave home without a bottle but lugging around a giant metal jug can be tedious at times.
This is the anti-bottle. Instead of wasting tons of plastic bottles that will go straight into landfills Vapur’s can be safely reused and it just looks cool because you can strap it to your bag or roll it up and flatten it out when you’re done.

A unique versatile top is hard to find. Some are too long, short, loose or just plain old boring. My latest pick?

Ladies, it’s finally happening. Who hasn’t been talking about this for years? Victoria’s Secret is finally coming to Canada. We’ve had Victoria’s Secret PINK for about a year now in select locations but I was waiting on the real deal.
The brand is getting ready to open its first two Canadian stores this August at West Edmonton Mall and Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto and there are more in the works. Squeal!
They have my all-time favourite bras so I’m pretty excited. Check out the pic of what the Yorkdale location looks like and I’ll update all you readers when I hear more!

Here are my two favourite bacon recipes:
The first is this rum peameal roast. It’s delicious and super easy to make! It’s perfect for long weekends because I don’t want slave over a stove at a cottage or even when I could be enjoying some sun in the backyard. Instead of having to tediously fry individual peameal slices the whole peameal roasts in the oven. Then it can be sliced and served.

My other favourite bacon recipe is sugar crusted (regular) bacon. There’s no denying, this recipe is decadent. Sugar-crusted bacon can be made by sprinkling bacon with demarara sugar while turning and frying it in the usual way. Make sure the head is medium-low so the sugar doesn’t caramelize too quickly. Here’s what the end result looks like:
